Oscar Church was designed by architect Gustaf Hermansson and built in 1903 in neo-Gothic style with room for
1250 persons. The church has richly decorated walls with windows and decorative elements.
The nave is flanked by arcades, borne by columns of granite. The vestry is situated in an extension
immediately north of the choir. The first restoration took place in 1921-1922 under the leadership
of Professor L.I. Wahlman.
