Public library Växjö

The oldest part of the library, namely the square, was built in 1965 by architect Erik Uluots. The building became known among architects because of its blend of classicism and modernism.
Extensions, the round house, was created after an architectural competition. The winners were the company Schmidt, Hammer and Lassen, Aarhus of Denmark.
