Engelbrekt church

Engelbrektsgatan Church is one of the main works carried out by the Art Nouveau style from the early 1900s. The architect Lars Israel Wahlman finished his work on the church in 1914. Typical for Art Nouveau style is the material authenticity and the fanciful form richness. The granite walls surrounding the church is hand carved and decorated with a wealth of symbolic ornamentation.
